Several members from Milton Keynes Rugby Club including 1st team captain Richard Hill, 2nd team captain Neil Forton and regular 1st teamers Phil Powell and Mike Lambert visited the specialist nursing care and neuro-rehabilitation facilities of the main rugby club sponsor, PJ Care and 12 Training last week to present the residents, many of whom are avid MKRUFC supporters with several framed jerseys from the club.
The presentation by the players, was an opportunity for MKRUFC to show their appreciation to PJ Care & 12 Training for their significant sponsorship of the club and also to meet many of the residents who regularly support the team at matches in this the club’s last year at Field Lane, Greenleys, before the club’s move to the new state of the art rugby facility at Emerson Valley this summer. The new clubhouse will include full disabled facilities ensuring future visits for residents and their care teams are far more comfortable. PJ Care CEO, Paul Moran and Quality Standards Manager, Angie Russell, both felt the visit was a positive experience for the residents and it was a great opportunity for the players to get to know some of their best supporters.
