| MKRUFC is a non profit organisation with the objective of the development of rugby within the Milton Keynes area. The club holds CASC status (Community Amateur Sports Club) and as such donations to the club attract tax relief to individuals, sole traders and partnerships through the gift aid scheme or as a deductible expense before profits for companies.
Gift Aid works by providing income tax relief to individuals, sole traders and partnerships on their gift or donation and allowing MKRUFC to reclaim income tax on the gift from HMRC. The amount of tax benefit depends on whether the individual, sole trader or partnership pays income tax at the basic or higher rate. In both cases the club will receive an additional £28 for every £100 donated in the form of a tax rebate from HMRC.
Furthermore, in the case of a higher tax payer, £25 will be refunded for every £100 he or she gives. This means between the club and individual they could benefit from a total tax refund of over £53.
If you wish to make a donation to the club to allow us to further develop rugby and sport in the region, you may complete the donation by clicking on the link below or contacting the club treasurer, Graham Wellings on 07768 867826

|
Welcome to the Milton Keynes Rugby Club website. MKRUFC is one
the most progressive sides in the Bucks region, with plans to move to a new £2 million rugby and multi sports facility in Emerson Valley. With work having already started, we hope to move into the facility for the end of 2009/10 season. We are also coached by Northampton Saints players
Mark Hopley and Saints Player of the Year for the 2008/9 season,
Paul Diggin.
Click here to see the flying winger from Saints score one of their best tries of the season.
We run 3 senior sides, the full age range within Mini, Midi, Juniors and Colts categories, a Veterans team and are aiming to field a Womens team in the future. If you would like to join the club in a playing or non-playing capacity just come along and make yourself known or alternatively email or call the club captain Kingsley Day on 07766 744724. For spectators, you are welcome on any Saturday in the season to watch games and socialise in our clubhouse.

City 1s have secured a home win walk over into the Southern Counties Cup Final after North Dorset pulled out of the semi final fixture on friday 6th Feb due to a clash with their club tour on the cup final date.
City will now meet either Aylesbury or Swindon (match is being played on the 6th Feb), in the final on Sat 27th Feb which will be an away fixture due to the draw. The competition leads to the national finals at Twickenham in May, with the winner of the Southern Counties Cup Final meeting the winner of the Gloucestershire, Cornwall/ Devon Cup for a place in the national semi finals before the Twickenham match. We would like to rally as much support as possible for this cup final which will be the biggest match of the season, so please put in your diary now.
